A Letter from Our Founder Regarding COVID-19

To our valued customers,

In light of the evolving situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we want to reiterate that the health and wellbeing of our customers is the utmost priority. We want to reassure our patrons that Kit Lender is stringent in following the best practices and guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Here are some of the steps we are taking to ensure we are protecting our patrons in this current situation. 

-Once kits are returned from their adventures on the mountains we follow strict guidelines to ensure that every kit is properly sanitized after each use

-We have increased the frequency of deep cleaning and sanitizing of both Kit Lender HQ and Kit Lender warehouse facilities

-We have mandated proper hygienic protocol within our team of less than 10 employees

Amid the growing concern for travel, we understand if unmitigable circumstances have caused your trip to be cancelled. As always our Customer Service team is available on standby to assist in matters of rental cancellation or order assistance. Please have patience as our team is assisting with a higher volume of requests than normal. Our team is currently working diligently to process all the cancellations requests in a timely manner.  Here are the ways to reach our CS team:

If you have ordered a kit that is currently in transit and needs to be returned to us please reach out to our Customer Service as soon as possible and we will contact FedEx to make sure it comes back to us safely.

If your package has been delivered amid cancellation of your trip, you will need to contact your hotel concierge, rental property owner or the property manager of wherever your package was received. Please follow the following steps to help ensure our kits are returned home!

-Instruct the recipient to open the box

-The recipient must place the return label and reseal the box. (These items are in the green and white envelope inside the box.)

-Once that is complete you will need to call 1-800-GO-FEDEX to schedule a GROUND pick-up from the location of where it was received or that it is currently located using your tracking number. Please make sure to write down the PRP# that FedEx will provide you once the pick up is scheduled.

 -If you have any questions or concerns our Customer Service team is happy to assist 24/7.

Although these times are uncertain there is hope and solace that we are all in this together! Kit Lender like the mountains will always be there for your next adventure. Thank you for your understanding and support!

We are also donating ski googles to healthcare workers in need of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in partnership with Berkshire East and Mansfield Ski Club. There is a dire shortage of PPE and we want to do our part. We are donating our personal inventory of SMITH Optics goggles as well as collecting donations at our Headquarters in Stowe, VT.
