Start with your first ski day and then chose the number of days on the mountain. If you are within 6 days of first ski day then you will need to add rush shipping. The three-day window is best for people who plan on skiing for a weekend or just want to try out sweet new gear before committing. The five- and ten-day windows are great for more open-ended trips with family or friends. . If you would like to extend your trip just give us a call and we can extend your trip for a daily rate.
Most of our rentals are for 2-10 days. If you are interested in longer, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will see what we can do.
We expect your order to arrive on time but it is always best to check the tracking link to make sure it is on schedule. If it's delayed due to weather or any other reason give us a call immediately at 888-473-3111 so we have time to make it right.
We recommend insurance for all kits. We understand that some wear and tear may be inevitable, and the insurance fee covers minor stains and damage. However, significant damage and theft aren't covered under the insurance. If the item is damaged beyond repair, the fee is the retail price of the item. If the item is never returned, the fee is double the retail price of the item.

Your rental will arrive via Fed Ex to your home, office, vacation rental or hotel by 8 PM the day before your first ski day.

Just place your items in the provided pre-paid box and call Fed Ex or drop it off at a Fed Ex ship center. The dry cleaning is on us.
Stuff happens. Your order is refundable 8 days prior to your first ski day. (After that it is either being processed or it is on it way to your destination). If you are within the 8 days give us a call and we may be able to offer a credit for a future trip for extenuating circumstances.
Never skied before? That's the best reason to choose Kit Lender. You will be looking like a pro before even stepping foot on the mountain. We recommend you rent an insulated jacket or shell with a mid layer top, pants, a helmet, goggles and gloves. One thing is for sure, nobody likes cold feet. You will only be charged for the period of the rental. Make sure that you have scheduled a pick up for the day after your last ski day. We track the packages so we will know when its on the way back.
The sooner the better. We have a huge inventory but weekends get busy and we want to make sure you have the perfect kit for your trip. Definitely order at least 6 days before your trip to avoid expedited shipping charges.
Fed Ex does not require a signature, however It's a good idea to let your vacation rental know that you are expecting a package. Check with them to make sure that you have the best address. Sometimes packages will be left on a porch or inside a garage door. If you don't see it when you arrive call the property owner to find out where they have directed Fed Ex to leave packages.
Yes, enter your first ski day and we will make sure your kit arrives by the night before. If that is a holiday it will arrive the day before.
Deliveries are made the day before your selected date and will arrive by 8 pm the day before your first ski day. Make sure to let your hotel know that you will be expecting a package. We will provide tracking information so you can see when your package is out for delivery. If you don't see if right away check with your front desk or concierge. Sometimes it gets move to a back office or mail room. If you have any concerns, call us at 1-888-473-3111 and and talk with a real live person in Vermont who’ll be happy to help you out.

We can ship to you in the USA and if you give us proof of your trip outside the US, then we will credit you back the 2 travel days, as long as you meet the 3 day minimum. Use your travel days as your first and last ski day. In the CUSTOMER NOTE at checkout, mention that you are traveling Internationally and need credit back for your travel days. We will apply a credit to the card you paid with.
Easy! First keep the box we sent it in. We include an envelope with a return label, packing tape and instructions with every kit. Follow the simple instructions which may include calling Fed Ex to schedule a pick up.
We get it. You got excited and ripped the box open so fast that it didn't know what hit it. Sometimes the cleaning person throws it out. Call us immediately at 888-473-3111 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that you need a replacement. We will email you a label to print out. You can usually get a new box from your hotel free of charge or purchase one at FedEx and send us a picture of the receipt and we will credit back the credit card on file.
We track every returned item, and as long as you drop your kit in the mail on the agreed upon return date (by noon the day after your last ski day) you'll be good to go. We understand that sometimes things happen, so we will contact you before ever charging your card.
If you do have issues returning your KIT on time please let us know. We will work with you for extenuating circumstances but we need need to know so that we can adjust our inventory and make sure all our future guest have what was promised to them.
If you book with more than 6 business days before your first Ski Day the Standard shipping is FREE. If you book with less than 6 business days, a 2-day rush or overnight rush shipping option is available for an additional $50 charge.
We recommend shipping to your destination hotel, or property if you can. Our service is convenient like that! Do you really want to pack your gear and travel with it? Save in baggage fees and apply that $50.00 towards enjoying your vacation. Just make sure to call us if you have any questions about sizing and let your hotel know to expect a package for you.

Your kit will arrive the night before your first ski day. If that happens to be a weekend or a holiday it will arrive the day before that. We do our best to ensure your kit is available to you by the time you're ready to tackle your adventure!
Well we don't want that to happen! It's important to be comfortable on the slopes so the best bet is to size up when you are ordering your kit.
For an understanding in "best fit" you have two options:
Each brand is different so follow the sizing guide on the site. The hip and the waist are the most important to get right. Don't worry our gear ensures that you can have both comfort, and style.
And when in doubt ... size up! We do not want you to be in the position in which there's a need for warmer layers, you've rented warmer layers, we've sent you warmer layers but you can't physically get into them. This is an avoidable situation if you size up at time of order. (think about it like this ... we can't add fabric to an item but we can always take some away by using a belt).

Kit Lender has many brands to choose from so it is important to click on the sizing link. Some brands come in sizes like Small, Medium and Large, others come in numbers such as 2, 4, 8 or by inseam measurements. If you are not sure don't hesitate to call or email us and a customer service representative will be happy to help you.
Most kids items are based on age. Sizing is based on the brand that you choose. If the sizing is listed by Small, Medium, Large click on the sizing guide to convert that to your child's age. When you are not sure always size up, especially in gloves and mittens.
